Ottomatik supports the restoration of MySQL backups to the server they were taken from, or another server running MySQL. Β If it is a single database the restore target server needs to only have a database created by the same name. Β If the backup was of "all databases" this is not necessary as the databases will be created with the restore.

To access this feature select the "restore" button when you "view" a history entry. This is the same screen where you can download the backup file. Selecting this button will proceed with the restore process by asking for the restore target server and allow the ability to override the database connection information if desired. Β

Note that this feature is limited to certain plans, if your plan does not support the restore feature you'll find an "upgrade" option in place of the "restore" button.
